The Innovation Challenge winner
On Tuesday, 28 May, the group Heptabox won the 2019 Innovation Challenge launched as part of the Concept Space+ from UBS and the HEG-FR. The group composed of six students from the HEIA-FR and the HEG-FR has created a connected “pill box” to simplify patient’s life and optimize the medication monitoring. A prototype has already been made. The group will use the one-year coaching and the funding received to further develop the product.
24 projects were submitted end of February and the jury selected five groups. The other four finalists are:
-Edu Signes who won the public price (Social Innovation), an app in sign language.
-ERUPT eSportbar (Social Innovation), socialize the eSport gamers
-Rentia (Smart-Living Innovation), one-click rental application
-Techscape (Social Innovation), the escape rooms at the service of Human Resources
