About us

With more than 10’000 students on Pérolles Campus, Fribourg has an enormous potential for student innovation. The high density of universities and different faculties make Fribourg an ideal environment for economic development through innovation and entrepreneurship. Many innovative students from different disciplines are accessible through the universities of Pérolles (HEG-FR, HEIA-FR, HETS-FR & HEdS-FR) as well as the University of Fribourg (including the Adolphe Merkle Institute).

Mission

Our mission is to inspire students to act by organizing events and workshops. We sensitize students to innovation and entrepreneurship. We connect students with a national and international network.

A touch of history

Our flagship project is the Innovation Club (IC). The IC is turning Fribourg into a hot spot for students looking to work and study in an innovative and/or entrepreneurial environment. Always on the cutting-edge of the latest innovations, the IC connects interdisciplinary students with regional and international networks by organizing events, workshops and meetings. It is building an innovation ecosystem by inspiring and empowering students to become tomorrow's leaders.

In 2015, we founded the Innovation Club with the goal of sensitizing students to innovation and entrepreneurship across all institutions, to bring together all of the innovative ‘movers and shakers’ on campus and create a critical mass for having an impact. We want to help students learn about innovation, meet new people and build a network, and act as a fertile ground for developing new, innovative ideas. Come join us !
